“Communities to replace boats, engines, fishing gear & post-harvest equipment due to TC Winston”

A report published by the Wildlife Conservation Society Fiji, highlighted how TC Winston affected fisheries-dependent communities in Fiji.

The report discusses the Impacts TC Winston had on:

  • Fishing Infrastructure
  • Subsistence and livelihoods
  • Marine Habitats
  • And discusses the livelihood needs post Winston.

Recommendations made in this report take into account but are not limited to gender dimensioned-gear and inclusion of women associated groups.
