WiFN-Fiji was on Viwa island last week on the 20th and 27th October 2025 to work with its members in strengthening capacities through building essential financial literacy skills. This partnership with ANZ Fiji saw to the delivery of a 2-day financial literacy skills training that encourages economic empowerment through various modules delivered under the Money Minded programme and Business Basics programme respectively.
WiFN-Fiji firmly believes that women fishers have an essential role to play in the nation as well as the global economy and building the foundational strength of economic literacy is a steppingstone in this journey of economic empowerment.
Vinaka vakalevu to the ANZ Fiji Financial Inclusion team, Tailevu Provincial Council Office, and the Viwa Island community for their support in making these sessions a success.
