Nakorolevu Women Build Resilience through Alternative Income Generating Activities – 2024

Five women from Nakorolevu Village of the Namara District in Tailevu were part of the Training of Trainers Workshop on Building Resilience for the Namara women through alternative income generating activities that was organized by the Women in Fisheries Network-Fiji and facilitated by Ms. Angie Niumataiwalu Rakai and team in the first week April through the Women’s Fund Fiji Project.
Massive Congratulations to these 5 women trainers of Nakorolevu that went back with the skills they had acquired and trained the women of the Nakorolevu women’s club with fabric art, contemporary weaving, jewellery making and tailoring – in the span of 2 weeks from the original training of trainers’ workshop. After their training, the Nakorolevu Women’s Club showcased their handicrafts to their community.
