We are proud to share that two of our representatives - Executive Board Chair Ms. Cherie Morris and Interim Network Coordinator Ms. Sainiana Hulita are currently attending the 15th Association for Women’s Rights in Development (AWID) International Forum in Bangkok, Thailand.

Congratulations to the new Executive Committee members who were elected: previous members, Ms. Cherie Morris, Ms. Shirleen Bala, Ms. Lanieta Kaikadavu and newly appointed members Ms. Alitia Vunisea and Ms. Seini Batiwale. We wish them the best in their leadership and guidance.

WiFN-Fiji is grateful to have been part of this training where the learnings would definitely contribute to WiFN-Fiji's preparedness and response efforts.

The training is intended to strengthen the capacity of communities, to conduct household waste audit, and to develop innovative solutions using the local knowledge of community members and project partners.

The WiFN – Fiji Secretariats attended a 2-day training program facilitated by Mr. Nemani Susu from the Partners in Community Development Fiji (PCDF) on Community Based Disaster Risk Management (CBDRM) in Suva on the 18th -19th September 2024.
